DESCRIPTION:
Weico's FG tubing is manufactured of a closely woven fiberglass braid impregnated with a tough, flexible, heat resistant plastic insulation. It has excellent electrical characteristics, chemical resistance, thermal properties, cut-through resistance, and is compatible with all insulation and conductor types. Because of its flexibility, FG can be bent, flattened, expanded or stretched - all without loss of stability or dielectric strength. It resists waxes, alcohol, petroleum solvents, esters, and many alkalies and acids. It is especially resistant to solvents used in electrical varnishes. FG sleeving is suggested for use in potted coils, motor and transformer leads and connections, switchboard wiring, instruments and other applications designed for 130°C operations.
CHARACTERISTICS:
- FG Sleeving has an operating temperature of -20C to + 130C and a dielectric strength of 4000 VDC
- It is non-corrosive, self-extinguishing and fungus resistant
