Glass Fibers

Insulation Characteristics: The magnet wire conductor may be served with either glass or dacron glass filament, both are available varnished or unvarnished, high resistance to overload burnout is the main advantage of glass, while dacron glass provides better flexibility and superior abrasion resistance than glass.

General Applications: Dry transformers, Class B motors.
